Acceptance does not mean resignation, nor does it mean we must like every circumstance. Instead, it is a deep breath into the truth of the present moment. When we resist, we tighten; when we accept, we open. This openness allows life to move through us rather than against us. Think of a river: when it flows around a rock, it doesn’t argue or fight—it simply includes the rock in its journey.
